ZoomInfo
Zoominfo empowers professionals in sales, marketing, recruiting and operations with access to a database of 20,000 companies. Since becoming a publicly traded company in 2020, Zoominfo has become a source for targeting customers and improving sales efficiency. With increasing competition and scrutiny on data privacy, Zoominfo needed to refresh its brand to appeal to an ever-changing customer base. As a senior illustrator and designer, I developed concepts for the revamp of Zoominfo’s brand. My role was to refresh the identity, develop a unique illustration style, build the icon library and design applications on collateral.

Identity
Zoominfo identity contained multiple elements including a two-color logomark and typemark—making it difficult to scale across Zoominfo’s many brands and products. I streamlined Zoominfo’s identity by reducing it to a single-color typemark to improve its recognizability across applications. A fuschia-tinged red make the logo more approachable and friendly.
Iconography
As part of the rebrand, I drew more than 90 icons to communicate Zoominfo’s features, functions and content. Principles guiding the designs of the icons are legibility, communicativeness, and approachability.
Illustration System & brand applications
Zoominfo is sales intelligence software that provides a database of contact information and automation tools. With data being core to Zoominfo’s offerings, I emphasized the red dot to represent data points. Elements inspired by the sky invoke the data cloud. Lighted pathways lead customers towards greater growth.
